I have lived in the West country all my life and took up oil painting a number of years ago when I retired. I have attended various professional art classes and demonstrations of the different appications of oil painting.

I belong to the East Cornwall Society of Artists, Looe Art Society and the SAA.

My paintings have always been based on the sea with interaction with the sky. I feel an enormous amount of satisfaction in trying to create the tension between these elements.
