Marilyn Baker

My first interest in art was in Montserrat W.I. after a devastating hurricane, when a British aid worker brought some watercolour paints and brushes to the island for me. I painted everything as I saw it, colourful and simplistic, very Grandma Moses style. Back in Cornwall, I wanted to learn more and attended classes given by reputable artists. I still love the bright colours of Cornwall and have used almost every media to obtain them. This reflects in my art. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoy painting them.
