Joan was born in Surrey and educated in
Devon, Middlesex and Melbourne, Australia.
Having worked for several years as an
advertising designer in London, she moved to Looe in 1972 and has
drawn and painted in Cornwall ever since.
She continually experiments with media
and style, much of her unusual work is in private collections all over
the world.
